Sofia Gontcharenko – Contemporary Visual Artist in Toronto
My name is Sofia Gontcharenko and
I am a young visual artist from Toronto, Canada.
My work is largely inspired by colour and its place in creating emphasis, contrast, value, and movement within my work, something I like to call, "Chromatic Topography".
I’ve been painting for many years now and have only recently chosen to come forth and show my work to the world, hoping to evoke everlasting joy in viewers as they observe not the painting in its entirety, but the small colouring details that make it for what it is.

I am delighted to share that I will be exhibiting at World Art Dubai 2026, taking place from April 23–26 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
You will find my works at Za’abeel Hall 4, Stand Z4 (A12). This international platform brings together artists and collectors from around the world, and I am honored to present my work in such a dynamic global environment.
